Dell Launches New Alienware And Dell Branded Gaming Laptops

Dell and its Alienware brand between them have launched six new Windows 10 based gaming laptops all of which are powered by 8th generation Intel Core processors. Dell also intends to segment the market further by launching a less expensive G series gaming laptop under the Dell brand with prices starting at just US$749. The Alienware 15 and 17 are the two most powerful laptops in the Alienware range and will allow gamers to overclock their computers by as much as 5.0 GHz for the first time ever.

Powerful machines

Both Alienware laptops and the G-series laptops from Dell will be powered by Core i5, i7 and i9 processors with as many as 6-cores. A spokesperson for Alienware and Dell Gaming says the company is the ambassador for the PC gaming world and continues to push the boundaries of innovation particularly in the company’s Alienware range. Dell is focused on creating systems for the top competitive gamers and leagues in the world and the affordable G-Series line will also allow gamers of every level to participate Dell says.

Alienware 15 and 17

As we said the latest Alienware 15 and 17 laptops come with the latest Intel processors. In order for gamers to extract the most from their processors, Alienware has been engineered to deliver improved cooling using new technology. The technology has 50 per cent thinner fan blades as well as a vapour chamber that encompasses the CPU to cool down the increased number of cored more efficiently. Next generation Alienware Command Centre is now part of the package and gamers will be able to choose between not just the iconic space grey aesthetic but also a sleeker Epic Black colour option.

Dell G3 15 and 17

The Dell G3 15 and 17 obviously have 15 and 17-inch screens respectively and are powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 up to 1060 Max-Q discrete GPUs. If you have the cash to spend you can opt for an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, dual fans and drives with the option of an SSD. Both laptops have 2×2 Wi-Fi antenna which means you will get excellent wireless performance. The laptops are extremely thin to encourage gaming on the go and the G3 15 in fact is Dell’s thinnest gaming laptop to date. The G3 15 comes in three different colours whilst the G3 17 has two colour options to choose from.

Dell G5 and G7 15

If you are looking to step it up in performance you may want to opt for the Del G5 and G7 series instead. These 15-inch laptops measure just 25mm and feature a powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPUs with Max-Q design technology. These models come with up to 6GB of memory as 6-core performance and of course the latest Intel processors with 67 buyers having the choice of even an i9 processors. Buyers will have the option to upgrade to an IPS UHD 4k panel and both models come in two colours.
