Apple Tablet Computer in Planning Stage?

steve jobs It appears that the top secret, Apple tablet style computer, is in it’s first phase of planning. A patent has been put into place recently by Apple for new handwriting recognition technology, sending the media into a frenzy of interest into the possibilities that lay ahead.

All new Apple products come with a ticker tape reception, not to mention a robust rumour mill, and the interest in this is sky high. After the worldwide success of first the iPod, then the iPhone, Apple will have to pull out all the stops to try and top those pieces of business! But that is what the company tries to achieve with every computer and gadget they design, and if any of the whispers are true, this will be the must have gadget of this millennium.

Thanks to the success of the iPhone, rumour has it that the tablet will feature much of the same technology but possibly with Mac OSX built in too. So you will be able to download a plethora of applications whilst also using a wireless internet connection like a laptop. The talk is also that the whole front side will be a screen, allowing consumers to play games, watch movies, and of course use the recently patented handwriting recognition system.

It could be that Apple are planning on world domination with this device, as it seems that it may incorporate many of the Apple families finest strengths in one machine. Or maybe not! After all much of this is hearsay from Apple enthusiasts (like myself!), who one day dream of a world which is run by Apple. Such a peaceful place, with houses of brushed aluminium, pictures of Steve Jobs above the mantelpiece, clouds shaped like iPods floating past in….
