Dell’s New 27-Inch Monitor Likely To Become Hit Amongst Gamers And Design Professionals
Dell’s new UltraSharp U2711 monitor, is a high resolution LCD screen, that offers a large screen, but without the space consumption.
The 27 inch monitor is yet to be released by Dell Australia, but has been released in the US and costs roughly US$1,099.00.
The screen has a WQHD native resolution of 2560 x 1440 and is ideal for gamers and HD enthusiasts alike, and we expect that graphic design professionals and photographers will also find great joy in working with a screen of this type.
The U2711 has opted for backlit cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL), instead of LED technology that seems to be all the rage with televisions. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio, a maximum dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1, and a response time of 6ms.
The U2711 is generous with connectivity packing a USB2.0 1.3, DisplayPort, DVI-D with HDCP, and more. The screen also features and 8 in 1 media reader, allowing users to view their photographs straight from an SD card.
